Congratulations to all of you who are admitted. Has anyone received admission notice in respect of the Corporation Law program?

Hi, I applied for Corporation Law Program. Received an email just now with the header "NYU School of Law Decision Notification". It's not a formal offer or the terms of the offer, but the email states, "Congratulations! I am very pleased to notify you of your admission to the Graduate Division of New York University School of Law. Within the coming days, you will receive an official offer of admission in the mail." I'll check the portal later when I have access. All the best to everyone waiting!

Raewyon,
Congratulations!

What about your requirements list, it went blank as well?

Best,
Jlmarcial

Yes! I'm in the same situation; but honestly, I did not recall to have something in my "mailings".

Nothing in my online status changed. Status as well as the 'Requirements' both full....

I guess I am going to be the last one to get a decision :(

Don't worry, you're not. Decisions can take several days at NYU, so it seems.
Friends who went there last years got admissions offer sometimes up to a week or two after the first offers.

My partner has been accepted to the LLM in International Business Regulation, Litigation and Arbitration. Don't know if we'll accept yet though. We filed late for Harvard, Stanford and NYU because it too so long to get documents from a foreign uni. So far NYU and UT Austin are the only schools that didn't offer any sort of scholarship money. Most other schools offered something significant. New York is such an expensive place to live as well.

We'll have to carefully decide if it worth going there. What I've seen in the US is as long as you are at a T-15 school, you are pretty good. Of course if you want to work in NYC, then going to NYU is a good choice but UT Austin is a great school and it will cost about $20,000 less to live and go to school there.

Me! But I am still waiting for the LOA. Any successful ILS applicant so far? I really hope NYU will soon start sending out its decisions to ILS applicants.

The wait is really excruciating. I really hope they're going to end this by the end of this week.

I have noticed in the Application tracker that some applicants have already received their decisions - does this mean that NYU has started to release the decisions?
Will appreciate if admitted folks share some information. Thanks.

Last year, my friend who applied for the Competition Law LL.M. received her decision on 11th March, 2014, if that is of any help to you.

@Wavshrdr

Did you apply just in time for the deadline or well in advance?
I am not sure if NYU reviews them in order of applications being complete or if it is randomized.

Hi, I have just been admitted to the International Taxation Program! I received the email this morning. Pack to follow via courier. My requirement list went blank about a month ago. No scolarship. Enrollment deadline: April 15, 2015.

Good luck to those still waiting!

NOF do you mind disclosing what your marks were for university and anything else (ie tax experience) you think made you a candidate for the Int Tax LLM?

Can I join the boat? I sent my applications just two days after they commenced the application period. Pretty nerve wrecking, that a lot of people who sent in just before the deadline have gotten decisions. :(

Hi - I've been working for 1 year, 6 months (+ 1 month internship before that) at large law firm. 118 TOEFL, Above Average grades (according to LSAC anyways).

From what I read in previous threads, NYU doesn't give so much credit to work experience (as opposed to CLS), and focuses on other parts of the application. On what exactly, I have no idea.

Good luck!

hang in there, hungry poet!

it is only a matter of days before you find out. the wait is becoming bearable as I remind myself that an llm is just one experience in a sea of exciting things to do. this is helping in taking the pressure off getting into a particular university and time passes less painfully. i hope your misery ends soon!

sending you good wishes.

Anyone applied Traditional LLM but has heard no news yet? I am quite worried. My requirement list just went blank few minutes ago. It's a mistake that I applied exactly on the deadline. Really nervous :(

Congrats to all admitted. You made it ! :D
