NYU Decisions

Bla Bla

When do you think we can expect to hear from NYU? From previous years' posts, it seems that many people started to hear from them as early as January.

well, I think a lot of the people who applied to the singapore LLM as well as New YOrk City will get told both decisions at the same time- and many have already been told as far as I hear. I have only applied for the NY city LLM so I think we will be told probably towards the end of Feb (going on previous years). It also seems if we get a scholarship that we will be told slightly sooner- sometime in Feb I assume...Has anyone ever heard from anyone who got the Hauser or vanderbilt and when they were told???

As early as January for the tax program, or NYU@NUS (or whatever it is), or for domestic applications... For the general LLM program, it should not be before late February.

Domestic student, applied late October. NYU requested my fall grades in December, and received those grades this week. Admitted Feb. 3, 2010.

@ Tewanderer01

Congratulations!

Did you apply only to NYU or to NUS. I ask, because up to know, only the ones that applied to NUS had received word from NYU.

Could you share with us your credentials and where you are from.

Did you receive a scholarship?

NYU in NYC, not NUS. It looks as though couple others on this board have admitted to NYU (rather than NUS) as well.

I am a 3L at a top 100 school with A/A- in 7 tax classes.

There was no word of any financial aid in the admissions letter.

I have a feeling that tax LLMs are treated differently.

im waiting for nyu tax decision so if this were the case---not good for me .

i saw last years thread though and had an impression it was pretty random at nyu (except the nus program). there were people getting acceptances in the general and tax programs in march.
