I guess I'll invest in ear plugs just to be safe. Thank you Oldtimer! And I'm sure we'll all have even more questions for you as August gets closer.

As someone who lived in Mercer when I was a summer in NYC...DONT DO IT. It's disgusting. The place is very grimy and gross and you have the most uncomfortable twin bed. The noise didn't bother me too much.

I definitely recommend finding a sublet or lease around the area that is not in the dorms!

Did anyone participate in the online chat today? I didn't get a chance to do so. By the way, I checked the admitted website and the transcript from this morning's session is not available, but I did find transcripts from last year's chat sessions and they were informative.

I did! The chats were very helpful. The transcripts are going to be available in a few days on the admitted student website.

Hi all! Well I bit the bullet and sent in my deposit to NYU. I visited last week but planned my visit poorly so I was in new york over the weekend and they really only let you visit inside the buildings during the week. So I ended up walking around the campus but was not able to check out any buildings. Very excited and nervous for the next steps: how to pay for it? and where to live? :-)

I'm just curious what led you to choosing this over GULC.

Crescent1841, I totally know what you mean -- I'm feeling nervous about how to pay for this! I hope they are still making decisions about domestic tax scholarships....

Re where to live: I'm going to try first for campus housing, but that is as far as I've gotten so far.

Hello!!!

Someone for NYU's International Business arbitration,...?

Hi there, I have been admitted too. It is the first year of such a program, isn´t it? The director called me (Frank Ferrara) and it looked very interesting. I am really looking forward.

Do you know whether there is any Facebook group created for this LLM program?

Really? The first year? I thought this program was not new, because I saw some subjects that were offered last year on NYU's website...

It's gonna be either second or third year of the program.

I'm in that program as well.

Let's create a Facebook group then!

By the way, when are they going to public the transcripts of the online chat sessions?

Also, did anybody need to contact NYU for any reason? I was wondering about how their approach is toward LLM students...

C_lawyer, I've e-mailed admissions twice now with specific questions about the admitted students websites, etc..., and each time they have been extremely gracious. I've also had a very pleasant e-mail exchange with someone in the careers office.

We should maybe ask this in the online session? Or maybe they have already answered in the previous one...
