Hey applicant2009,
I also submitted my application to NYU, think it was at the end of Oct. Havent heard anything from them besides the email that my application is complete. I know it takes more time for NYU to review the applications, hope to hear from CLS soon. Let me know if you have any updates.
Dear Franziskaner,
When I submitted the payment to NYU, I did not experienced any system error on their web site. You may want to contact the admission office and let them know. If I am not mistaken, they even have a some kind of Tech Support team to assist with any problems on their website.
Best of luck to all of you, guys!

After two days of frustrated attempts, I finally managed to pay the application fee!
I guess that my full name is too long, so the webpage (that immediately following the selection "I would like to pay electronically") couldn't accept it.
When I abbreviated my name, it suddently worked!
Thank you for your help.

I submitted my application in the end of October. Haven't heard anything except that my application is now complete and being send for review to Graduate Admission Committee. Those who has marked Singapore as either first or second option should expect the decision of Graduate Admission Committee by December end/January first week. (atleast that was the case last year)...All the best to all!!!!!!!!!!!

I sent my application to NYU on 5 November 2008. On the same day, I sent the letters of recommendation to NYU. NYU should have received the letters on 12 November and the TOEFL score report in the beginning of November. However, I still did not receive any e-mail from NYU stating that my application is complete. How long did it take in your cases?

hello all,
does NYU have a certification form (such as berkeley and HLS) which needs to be signed and sent along with the other application materials?
Many thanks

The answer is: No.
I think it's the only application that is entirely electronic (unless you submit your letters of rec. along with the required forms, by snail mail).

I just sent an e-mail but only received an automatical answer stating that NYU is unable to respond to e-mail queries about the status of individual application... I am really afraid that my application materials were getting lost somewhere.

Are you using LSAC? If yes, you can see if they have already requested your evaluation report. If they did, they surely received the online application, and in the worst case only the letters got lost, which is not the end of the world as they can be submitted later.
Even simpler: Call them.

Actually, I received an e-mail confirming that my online application has been received but I did not receive an e-mail regarding the completeness of my application.

Hey!!
did you send your applications online or per mail? I sent everything online, and my recommenders submitted their recommendations online. just wondering whether I should expect to receive another e-mail stating that my application is complete, in addition to that informing that the application has been succesfully submitted. anyone?

Please someone to help, i am yet to submit my application to NYU. I am planning to electronically submit my application on 1st Dec. 2008 save for the Original Transcripts which are to be mailed (also on 1st Dec.) thro' DHL.
This in effect means that (being from Africa) ,my transcripts will reach the university after the Dec. 1st Deadline. is this fatal, or can the University commence reviewing my application on the strength of the self reported transcripts.
Do i have to inform the amission committee in my online application of the likely delay of the reciept of the official transcripts?
The delay in posting the transcripts was occassioned by the technical difficulty from the University's system.
PLEASE, SOMEONE give an opinion so that if the delay is fatal, then i do not have to run up and down trying to meet the deadline with my online application materials.
