Ive looked everywhere for an answer to the following and cant find one:
Did anyone out there attempt to sit for the NY Bar with a 2 year accelerated LLB (UK) and either the LPC or BVC completed? I understand California allows one to sit if you are qualified as a lawyer, but what about New York.
I am aware a 3 year LLB automatically qualifies. My issue is that I am doing a 3 year part time (viewed as 2 year full time) and therefore need additional legal education. I could extend the part time to 4 years and meet requirements that way, but I would rather get the degree quicker and that the weekend BVC here in London so I can continue to work full time.
Any thoughts on this are much appreciated.

I don't whether this will help you, however, the two year course offered at Univ of Buckingham qualifies students to sit the NY Bar.
