Hi
Before making a decision about which Law Schools I'm going to finally apply to, I'd like to know how many positions are being offered to LLM applicants at the following for the 2006 course. That's what I've got by now:
HARVARD: 150
STANFORD: 10 (Science & Technology program)
BERKELEY: ??
UCLA: 10 ?? (Thats what Ive found in their letter of recommendation form)
USC: ??
CHICAGO: 50
HASTINGS: 20
CORNELL: 55-60
GEORGETOWN: 100?
DUKE: 75-100
Can anyone help on this?
Thanks in advance,

Hi again
To make this a little bit more detailed. I'm from Spain, IP/Entertainment is my field, I got my degree this year and have the chance to get a nice scholarship to go to the States to study my LLM. The point is I don't want to waste MY OWN dough applying to Universities which getting in could be almost impossible due to the low number of LLM positions offered.
Hope anyone can give some help.
Thanks again,

hI Ruben , i dont know about number given for prospective LLMs but i know that it will be strong competition for places in HLS, Stanford, Columbia, Cornell etc. Even these univ suggest more places than they give usually competition will stay as old one.

The AUAP ranking is total quackery. I can't believe you've been conned by it.
How can Cornell be before Harvard ? How can Tulane and Fordham be before Yale ? And so on ...

Michaeeel you are sooooooooo right. I just got off the phone with a friend. We couldn't believe it. It's simply out-of-this-world. I think the leiterrankings is more credible what do you think? But tell me, how on earth is it possible that people pay over $2000 for such bullcrap?

The leiterrankings makes more sense. AUAP is not objective and puts in its rankings the universities to which it "manages" to send people who ask for their services (= second tier universities for most). Aware of the quackery, they put Columbia and Harvard in it but still !! By the way : 2000 $ to help you write your personal statement, that's huge !
