Hi folks,
I have admits from Northwestern (general LL.M.), Cornell, Duke and Fordham (Banking & Finance). I am in dilemma. During LLM, I want to focus on business laws (esp. International Business Laws). Cornell is ivy-league v/s Northwestern has better ranking. Any ideas which school can offer better programs and better opportunities for career prospectives?
Thanks in advance.

i have also recieved admits from cornell and duke. didn't apply to northwest
look to the rankings Duke is generally higher than cornell over the years though this year cornell is one spot higher. employers will look at the rankings overtime not in that one year. thus the ivy league status may not make that much a different.
Duke also apparently has a better careers office which is of great assistance in job hunting.

Even though Northwestern is ranked higher in the US, I think Cornell and Duke enjoy a better name recognition abroad.
Between, Cornell and Duke, if you don't mind the southern accent ("welcome to Dook"), Duke is an excellent choice, especially compared to Ithaca.
Lastly, if you prefer livelier/larger cities (Chicago) and if your preferred field is business and corporate law, I'd go for the LLM/Kellog at Northwestern.

admitted to Duke, Cornell and NU. chose the last one. besides, for corporate NU is among the very best schools in the country; let's say among the top 5...
