Northwestern LLM - 2020-2021 Applicants

Hi! I'm also in the same position. I only created my account and e-mail but I did not pay any deposit. I am waiting for some other schools! So as far as I understand, you can create the e-mail just in case and wait until the deadline to pay the deposit :)

Hi! For admitted students: Does anyone know if we should create the school account/email( for paying tuition etc.) even if we don't know if we are enrolling yet? I don't know if I should wait until I decide if I'm going to NW or should I do it now bc the link may expire or something. Thanks!

Hi guys, I was accepted 13th Dec and never got any financial aid message afterwards. I am really worried since I reapplied after declining last year due to personal issues (last year was offered a significant amount).... anyone in a similar situation who keeps hoping?

Hey Jackson, the same happened to me last year. However I requested my enrollment to be deferred and it was granted to me. My scholarship was carried over to 2020-2021. Maybe you should just contact MBB directly about your case. Best of luck!

Anyone here who has received scholarship or funding, please would you kindly let us know how much.
According to MBB, their budget is quite limited this year so the rest of us would significantly benefit from further information or a place opening up. Thanks!

May I ask why and which offer do you prefer rather than this one? I received a similar offer (but with 30K) and still considering whether to accept, as most of the schools did not shared the scholarships decisions yet.

I got into Cornell without scholarship, waitlisted at berkeley and still waiting for NYU. If I don't get into Berkeley or NYU, I rather go to Cornell instead of Northwestern. I did the same choice for UCLA (30k scholarship)

I received 50k and I am considering it. However, I am leaning towards Columbia.

Amazing offer, Congrats! Did Columbia offered you a scholarship as well?

Hi I received $35K both from Northwestern and Cornell, and smaller ammounts from other schools, and I’m trying to decide between Northwestern and Cornell. What made you lean towards Cornell so clearly? (I want to focus in securities and corporate law, and apparently both are great on those subjects)

I received 25K from Northwestern and I will also reject it; I will probably go to Cornell (35K) as well.

Thank you!
Unfortunately not, which leaves me undecided. However, I am still awaiting NYU scholarship decision and Harvard admission decision

Thank you all for your responses and congratulations on your incredible offers!

So far I have received 25-30k (from other schools) but I submitted my application to NW late and their budget is now depleted I assume so fingers crossed I get some funding in the near future. They seem to be generous.
I am focused on IHR/ILS and both NW and NYU are well-balanced in that area. My top choice, however, is Columbia without a doubt; still waiting to hear from CLS.
