Does anyone know about financial aid? I got in but did not receive any info about scholarships, etc. Does this info come later? Or, do you find out about your scholarship status along w/ your admission letter? That is, if you did not receive info about scholarships w/ your admission letter, does that mean you were not chosen for a scholarship?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I'm also going to Northwestern LLM/K this June. I'm from Taiwan!
What is the main reason for you to go NW instead of NYU? I am also admiited to both and have difficulty to make my final decision.. ..
Many thanks

The main reason would be your focus. If you want to focus on International law, you should choose NYU as they are the best. If you want to focus more on business, then maybe LLM/K would be better since you will have a chance to access the resourceful law school and business school at the same time.

Hi ALL,
Is any one aware of phone interview conducted as part of the admission of Northwestern Laws LLM in Taxation program?
NU's LLM Admissions Committee would like to invite me to participate in an evaluative interview to be included as part of your application.
I never saw that interview were conducted...Could someone provide with insight here? I am an applicant from europe...if that makes a difference.
Thks for your help

Drink a bottle of wine before the interview, tell the admissions staff that you love t accounts and you will be fine.

Anything more constructive than that......Johan_Steyn? I think you can do better..couldn't you?
Posted Apr 22, 2008 13:06
Its not rocket science...I mean come on...why do you want to come to BU, career, why Tax, blah blah...you dont need a BCL from Oxford to figure that out.

Thanks for your comment Johan_Steyn, very constructive indeed...
But if you read my post more carefully (here under):
1. My question was about NU...not BU. So I wonder why you referring to BU?
2. I said that I did not know that such interview were conducted by NU so wanted to know if anyone had taken such interview ( since it is optional)?
I assume that you're going to BU Tax LLM program (which sounds awesome by the way) - reason why you're reffering to BU on your post? But do you know about NU interview?

I'm from Italy. I was admitted to NU LLM.
I'm going to Chicago on next August.
Is there someone from Italy?
I think that NU is one fo the best School of Law in USA (and in the world).
I saw it's ranked in 9 position of US News Rankings. That's great!!!! TOP TEN University!!

Hi!
I am from India and I recently got admitted to NW Tax LLM program. The interview call is generally to introduce you to NW programs, faculties and to respond to your questions if any that you may have. They would also like to know your special interest in the course you have applied for.
