Hey congratulations! I applied for the general program at NU near the deadline. When did you apply?
Hi, everyone. I just received my acceptance decision. No word on financial aid yet, but I guess that should come in the next couple of weeks, right?

Thanks! I applied on January 15, completed the KIRA interview on January 22, and received my decision today. Best of luck!

Hi guys, just got my acceptance from Northwestern. Waiting on their scholarship decision now. Does anyone have an idea if you can transfer to NW's 2 year JD program after completing your LLM? Is that possible? Can international students do that?

Got my admission decision yesterday as well. Congrats to all those admitted! I look forward to joining the WhatsApp group once one has been setup for NW LLM admitted applicants.

I applied on 29th December and had my interview on 9th January. I haven’t received a decision and I am getting tensed. Does anyone know when they start to dish out rejection letters? I wonder what the chance is to get funding at this hour.

I've been accepted to Duke, NW, and Cornell, but I'm currently leaning towards NW. However, Duke also seems like an excellent option for me, so I'm not sure yet.
I"m focusing on corporate and contract law, so with this is in mind, I'm favoring NW due to the ability to attend courses at Kellog, ranked 3 among business schools. Also NW seems to haver a better reputation when it comes to corporate law.
But I would love to listen to other peoples opinions hahahaha

I am in the same boat as you - Duke attracts me due to its personal approach, Cornell because internationally it benefits from the Ivy League reputation (and it may be the best out of the three if you are interested in NY Big Law).

Hi everyone - my question is for the people who have been admitted and received a scholarship offer.
Has anyone who has received a scholarship asked NW to reconsider and increase the scholarship amount? If yes, what has their response been like?
I’ve been offered a scholarship of $30,000 but wanted to understand if there is a chance of them reconsidering and increasing the amount.

Just recieved an email in regards to scholarship. I got an offer of US$25.000,00.

Congratulations!!! People were getting up to 60k funding last year. Wonder what’s happening this year. The mean funding seems to be around 30k.

I've got 30k

Hi guys - I'm still waiting for NW response as well. The problem is that I did not do the online interview (due to certain personal issues that came up in the beggining of this year), although I had received the e-mail requesting me to do that. Does anyone know whether this could significantly harm my chances of being accepted and eventually getting a scholarship? Thanks!

Same for me - one of my parents is quite sick, I had emailed them requesting if they could postpone it by a few days and I got no response. I eventually gave it but it was not good for me. I do believe that giving an interview you're not confident about might actually be worse than not giving it at all, but that's just my opinion. It should not affect your chances because things do happen at times, but that's just what I feel, and I do not think there is a sure shot way to know whether or not it affects your chances.

Hi,
I dont think not doing the interview should be a point of special concern! I could have sworn I marked I wanted to do it, but NW never contacted me and I got accepted with a 35k scholarship Hope everything works for you as well and your parents are better!
