Hi! Has anyone heard back from NU yet? I learned of my admittance last Friday.

Incidentally—has anyone heard back from Duke?

Hi! Congrats for your admission in NU!!. When did you apply? I applied on September 28 and I have not heard anything yet. I already got admission from Duke in October.

I applied on October 24th and completed their KIRA interview two-three weeks later. I got admission on December 3rd.

Would you say that Duke takes roughly a month to render decisions?

Congrats! I see that you’ve been admitted to UVA too, that’s amazing! Could I ask when you applied and how long it took for the decisions to be given out?

Thanks!! I applied pretty much as they opened. Duke and Virginia took only a few weeks.

They answer me around 3 weeks soon after my application was completed. They are pretty kind !!

I havent applied yet, waiting on my transcripts to be processed, think I will be hurt by this? Should I go ahead and just apply?

I think you should wait.... If the deadline is coming you could contact NU and Duke to let them know what is happening and see their thoughts...

I am also applying at Northwestern University for the General LLM. Which program did you get admitted to? :)

Congratulations on getting in! Have you also received decision on financial aid? I am working to put in my application today. Financial aid is important to me so I am trying to see if there are still distributions left, lol.

A friend of my received a very generous scholarship (50k) from NW by the end of February last year so don’t worry if we don’t hear from them in January!

Other questions are a bit more open-ended and the challenge is to be articulate for the whole 60 seconds. It’s a bit TOEFL-like really, so if you did well in that you’ll do well here too.

The practice questions help as well. Do those 4 or 5 times and you will do well.
