With little to no significant work experience, how difficult an uphill battle should I expect applying to GU's LLM program in Securities? I'm a US atty with average grades from an average law school and a Master's in Int'l Econ from Hopkins. While the MA from SAIS fullfilled my intellectual interests, lawyers couldn't care less about it. I need the LL.M. for legitimacy in the field of int'l finance. Am I just looking for heartache? As I look at it, all I have to lose is the application fee and a momentarily wounded ego if I don't get in.

Thanks!
Lieve
