Hey there. I have received almost all the decisions right now but still haven't heard anything from UCLA and UVA. Is it possible that something wrong with my application? Or I am on the waiting list (but school didn't say that)? Should I write to them and ask? What will you do? Any advice will be helpful, THANKS.
No news from UCLA and UVA. Should I ask?

Hi, I was in the same situation as you last week. I was waiting decisions from UCLA, UVA and Cornell, and they seemed to ignore me @@... So I wrote to them stating that I "really really" need the decision soon. Yep, I used "really" twice and that did work: I got the admission from UVA this morning and UCLA told me that it was possible to notify me this week. While Cornell basically told me to wait, I think it's a good news for you that Cornell is not on your list. ^.^

oh no, I am in the bad luck. Here is what I received after writing to them:
Hello!
Our office is in receipt of your e-mail. Thank you for your
interest in the Graduate Studies Program at the University of
Virginia School of Law. I am writing to respond to your
inquiry.
1) If you are writing to inquire whether a decision has been
made regarding your application, we will contact you via
email when a decision has been reached, followed by a hard
copy letter. As previously stated, every effort will be made
to notify applicants by April 15, 2008.
I guess I have more wait to go and I still don't know whether I should give my deposit to other schools or not.

I received this auto reply after I sent my first e-mail 2 weeks ago, but the funny thing is that I did not recieve this after my second e-mail last Friday, which I wrote "really" twice, and they did respond me after a while told me that they will notify me soon. So it makes me wonder that Maybe this auto reply is not "technically" automatic anyway. lol

HAHA, really!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe "really really" is the magic words for UVA.

I received an offer from UCLA this morning at 1am..decisions still rolling. Good Luck!

Asking does not guarantee you will get an faster decision! A friend who applied to UVA LLM Program last year asked and got an answer-no offer! Do not get overly confident......

One more thing......
Really, really are not magic words.

oh my god, I am screwed. There is no news until this moment.
I have written to these two schools. UVA replied that they will have my decision by the beginning of this week (However, it's Wednesday right now ). UCLA have not even replied my letter.
I don't know what's going wrong. If I am rejected, at least they should inform me that.
Has anyone been in my situation??

Why don´t you call them? Then you will at least get an answer when to expect their desicion.
Good luck!
Good luck!

Suggestion- watch what you say on this site. If you have not realized (and it looks like there are some real morons on this site), that schools can look at this and probably figure out who you are.
So knock off being so obnoxious and rude!

I got an e-mail from UCLA two weeks ago saying that i'm on their waiting list but that there was no specific order given to applicants on the waiting list ! I haven't heard anything from them eversince, i wrote a couple of days ago asking what the criteria for admitting applicants from the waiting list were and i still got nothing. Does anybody know when the deadline for paying a deposit for applicants who got accepted is ? if i know that then maybe i can figure when to expect any response from UCLA.

Dear dinaelhusseiny ,
I have also written to them several times this week. Finally they replied me. They told me that they will have the decision for me in the next week.
So maybe keep contacting them and you might get a specific time.
Good luck to all of us.

Vincent...
If you havent got a decision yet, more hope for you as I am going to decline my offer to UCLA leaving another vacant place for yourself!
