Does anybody know when this this "rolling basis" will end... (in previous years at least...)
I think I'll accept another offer before having any news...

I think by the middle of april the game will be over.
Compared to last year it seems that those admitted through the early review have filled all available seats.
I'm really looking forward to attend CLS but I'm starting to feel a little desperate about it....

It seems like they sent a lot of decisions on March 25. Lets hope that the coming waves won't be too late...

i still havent heard anything. not sure what to make of it.

does anyone know how columbia informs ppl of rejections? if it informs by air mail (unless you specifically email them and ask), then could it be that if one has not heard till now it means that one is rejected - cause air mail will take a while to arrive?

I asked a friend of mine, who is a current LL.M. student at CLS to find out something about how advanced the admissions process currently is - the unofficial and probably not very accurate information from a few days ago was that about 60% of the class has already been chosen... Judging from the previous years' posts on this board, last admissions decisions were communicated in the beginning of May. Oh the never ending wait... ;-)

Got rejected, I received the email last night :-(
I am so disappointed! And now what? The other Law School I was admitted to are not even comparable to CLS especially in my field of interest (i.e., arbitration).
What will be my chances if I apply again next year?

Last night I received an e-mail from cls admissions office. As my school does not provide an official one, I had sent a note from the school stating that they do not have an official ranking they could provide. In last night's e-mail, CLS is asking from me to submit them an unofficial ranking information about my graduation grades. I'm not sure if this is just a formality or has the decision process come and stuck to this single piece of information. I guess still not receiving a rejection is positive. Does any of you have any opinion as to how I should interpret all this?

Congratulations and thanks for letting us know. I was starting to wonder if there was still a realistic possibility of admission for those of us who had not yet heard from Columbia.

I've just sent a e-mail and here is the answer :
"We make our admissions decisions through the end of April, and you will be notified via email as soon as a decision has been made on your application.
If, however, you fax or email your letter of admission to the other university, including the deadline, we can try to expedite your decision"
That's definitely too long, and I won't wait untill end of april!!!
