hi,
im seriously considering applying for an LLM. I'm about to graduate from law school in teh states, my school sucks tho, its #77 on top 100 list. my credentials are as follows - 3.3 gpa, 3.6 if you dont include my first semester, top 15% of my class, worked all my summers at small law firms, and a concentration in financial transactions -- i'd like to apply to a few schools and wondering if you would you be able to advise on the following
1) if i apply to nyu llm tax program, but i have no tax classes yet, but i am planning on taking them next semester, my last semester - is NYU going to laugh at my application because i have no tax classes?
2) is it easier to get into the nyu tax part time program?
3) if i apply just to llm programs at say, nyu, ucla, gulc, columbia or penn, given my stats, what are my odds of getting in?
THANKS in advance. I appreciate any advice that anyone can offer. I'm completely new to this.
need advice on llm, please help
