what is the magic test email you are talking about? when do schools send them and what they write? thanks

whats so magic about it?
anyway, to make a long story short, Harvard came out with this superb system:

1. They sent "test emails" to some applicants basically saying "this is a test email so dont reply", and that afternoon, people who received those emails got acceptance.

2. A bunch of people got a second test email (my case). A lot of people started with their theories: a) we were accepted too and we'll hear from them on monday b) we're waitlisted c) we're all rejected because its the "second" test email...etc etc etc. This was a friday, so weekend kinda sucked for a lot of us.

Now, was it a), b) or c)? Yes, it was c)...but we did not get rejection emails...so Harvard simply sent second test emails to "tell" us we dont even deserve a rejection email...so magic...

hahaha, thats so funny, I´m sorry anyways. Don´t worry, cambridge process has been pretty similar...
