Could someone please explain to me why my LSAT scores are required for admission to every LLM program in America? I will be the first to admit that I did horribly on the LSAT. However, I have great grades, I am an editor of my school's law review, and I have a stacked resume. I have proven "beyond a reasonable doubt" that I can handle the "rigors" of law school despite doing horribly on the LSAT.
I was hoping the LSAT would be behind me once I made it to law school. My LSAT grade was so horrible that I would almost be better retaking the LSAT as a 3L.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I hate that I am even posting this question, because I find it ridiculous that I am required to submit my LSAT scores to be considered for admission to an LLM program. Nonetheless, I am required to follow this absurd policy and need some help.
Thanks!

Are you sure you have to do the LSAT for an LLM application? I know that in the UK it is for first degrees only.
