LSAC Transcripts

Hi,

I was searching the forum but I couldn't find an answer to my question:

In addition to my first law degree I also studied abroad for one semester without obtaining any degree (study exchange). I also received a doctorate in law.

Can anybody tell me from his or her own experience if I need transcripts of my study exchange semester and of my doctorate in law? I am asking because I would need to get both translated and sent to LSAC separately which takes time, costs money etc. I would be glad if I didn't have to worry about that too, that's why I am asking.

Hi there!

Not sure if you've figured it out already, but you are supposed to send transcripts from every post secondary institute attended. I also studied abroad for one semester (without obtaining a degree, just got a transcript) and had to send that one to LSAC too. I'd also advise to look into the specific requirements of each school you're applying to, as not all of them require certified translations.

Good luck!
