LSAC TRANSCRIPT TROUBLE

I am preparing to apply for the fall 2014 llm programs on the east coast. almost all the colleges require me to apply through lsac. Now the thing is i am a graduate of an indian law school (ILS ) and while graduating from the school i sought copies of my transcript from the college itself. in short i have sealed envelopes of my transcript, but i just read on the LSAC portal that the institute has to directly send the transcript to LSAC and the candidate cannot send them to LSAC. i am currently residing in usa and it will be difficult for me to go back to my institute and get the whole process started. can anyone shed light on this issue please.

Since I knew my university would be unlikely to send my transcripts half-way around the world for my, I asked LSAC if there was a way for me to send it to them. They told me, that as long as the transcripts and the request form were in a sealed envelope from the institution, I could send that envelope in myself.

Since your request form is not in the sealed envelope, you should ask LSAC if they can make an exception.
