hello,

got accepted to the IP LLM at Boston University, and George Washington University.
tuition is more or less the same. rankings are more or less the same (both in top 10 IP, both in top 30 general - US news).

anyone can help from first hand? any info about the details of the courses, quality of teaching, clinic and "hand on" experiance?

thanks,
J.

Hello, did BU send you a list of former admitted students from your country before accepting you ? Because I just received this mail and completed my interview 5 days ago.

Hello! My interview with BU's director will take place this week... I was also admitted to GW, with a deadline to enroll expiring by the end of the month. I hope to be informed soon of BU's decision so as to make my choice between these two.

I have noticed something that could be a significant difference between BU and GW: I have seen in previous posts and in GW's website that the IP program allows you to take the courses needed to take the NY bar exam. On the other hand, someone told me that BU's Intellectual Property program does NOT allow you to take all the required courses to qualify for the NY bar exam... and therefore, that if you wish to sit for the bar, you should enroll in the LLM in American Law for foreign students, with specialization in IP.

Do you believe that this is a disadvantage of BU when compared to GW if you are really looking forward to completing an IP specific program? What are your thoughts? Where have you decided to enroll?
