Hello
I understand Missouri now also allows LLMs to take its bar exam, just like NY. Missouri is a reciprocal jurisdiction to New York. Assuming I pass the Missouri bar, becoming a Missouri licensed lawyer, would I be eligible to admission to NY Bar on motion? I checked the official website and it seems you must have a JD to be eligible. But can I argue my foreign law degree is equivalent to JD?
I guess I am also asking if anyone has such experience or contacted NY Bar before for such inquiries. Thanks a lot.
