LLB from India seaking LLM in USA

Hi All,

i have done LLB from India and looking forward for LLM in USA. but i am not sure what are the job prospects and visa scenario for Indian students in USA. i know a lot of IT folks who get their visa sponsered by firms. Is the work visa easliy given to law students as well in USA?

Consider your return on investment back home in your country. Most LL.M.'s don't get jobs these days. Forget about visas and sponsorship. It is very very rare to see someone make it. LL.M. right now is a cash cow for every single law school in U.S, as opposed to most.

Hi!

Can someone please clarify whether 2 LORs for HLS should be okay (that's the minimum) - or will it be disadvantageous, given that HLS recognises, and is infact correct, that almost all applicants submit 3!

Anyone particularly with personal experience on this one?
