LL.M. in International Law

Hello everyone!

I am an absolute fresher in terms of LL.M. application process for US Law Schools so please bear with me.

I am from India, have a B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) degree and graduated in 2009. I hope to pursue an LL.M. in Public International Law and have thought of a few law schools to apply to: NYU, Columbia, Harvard. I'm wondering if I should to Georgetown as well, it's ranked high in one of the ranking guides, but then again these guides are hardly definitive.
And I am clueless about my chances in general.

I have been an average student overall, though my first three years (of undergrad) were good in terms of grades, but then went downhill in the final two years. I have interned a lot including a clerkship under a supreme court judge, interned at district and Supreme court, in some of the best law firms in India, in an NGO, in a govt. legal services department. I have also been a teaching assistant in my final year for a trimester. But yeah, I've done nothing related to Int'l Laws other than a moot on UNCLOS, I have no publications though I have my law school projects on most subjects of law, two on Int'l Law included.

I worked in a law firm for three months upon graduating, didn't enjoy it and left it for litigation/practice at a High Court. That's what I am engaged in currently and I mostly handle service law matters and Bail proceedings (Crim. Practice). Again, no relation with Int'l Law.

But now I wanna join hardcore academics and it was always a part of my plan, esp after the TAship. I'm chosing Int'l Law/Humanitarian Laws cause of my own interest. But i realise I don't have much to express the same through my CV.

So then do I stand a chance at all? What can I do to boost it? Or should i shift to a general LL.M.? Other law schools?
If reputation can help, then I am from a very highly respected University and its alumni is pretty much everywhere.
My apologies for the really long post but I'm hoping for some help in clearing my doubt. Thanks. :)
