My spouse has done her LLB (5 yr integrated course) from Indian Law Society (ILS) college affiliated to Pune, India
university.

After that she worked with Khaitan & Co., Mumbai,
India for 6 months in the field of Intellectual
Property-trademarks. Presently, she is working in the
field of civil litigation with Mulla & Mulla, Mumbai,
India (one of the topmost renowned solicitor firm of
the country). She is w/this firm and practicing in
Maharashtra state high court for around 1.5 years now.
She is also currently enrolled with the bar council of
Maharashtra & Goa.

Is her LLB degree from India recognized in US? Can she
work directly w/o any coursework in US? If not, what
you recommend – in which program she should be enrolled in. And what's the eligibility (any exams?) for getting in them?

Your help and advice would definitely hold vital role
in deciding which path she should take in her career
ahead.
