The following conversion chart is applicable for students from Latin America that use the French evaluation system. (0 to 20 scale)
Grade 20 point / scale / description / Grade Points (Gpa)
A 16-20 Outstanding 4.0
A+ 14-15.9 Very Good 3.7
B+ 13-13.9 Good 3.3
B 12-12.9 Good 3.0
C 10-11.9 Pass 2.0
F 9-10 Fail 0
Currently I have an 15.30 average, that means Im positioned within the score of 3.7 on the GPA scale.
Additionally, I am a founder member of a legal journal known within the legal field in my country named Athina ( http://www.revistaathina.org ).
I am currently studying at a private University Universidad de Lima (http://www.ulima.edu.pe) , considered the # 1 university within the law schools in Peru. Moreover, I made two student exchanges; one to Spain at the University of Salamanca (http://www.usal.edu.es) and a Summer Camp in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am currently working as a trainee at a law firm widely recognized named Rodrigo, Elias & Medrano (http://www.estudiorodrigo.com), Ranked # 3 among the best Law firms of Latin America, in the area of litigation, which includes the following areas: civil, criminal and constitutional. Also, Im a member of the students association from my university, as well as a great athlete.
The actual question is: With all the activities and the academic grade that I have, should I be a good leaflet to make my LL.M in a top 10 USA University?
