just got rejected from NYU too (and Harvard today as well)
but i was admitted to Duke, Cornell, GTown and waitlisted at U of Chicago!

so dont lose hope, it doesnt mean anything! you never really know what they look for in an applicant, the good thing is that they dont all look for the same things! :)

I've got the rejection letter today as well, togheter with HLS. Now I need to have a Guiness and celebrate St. Patrick's Day and forget the rest of it.

I never though in my dreams that to hear a rejection I had to do so much work..."log on this website, click on here and enter your password"...Man!!!! why didnt they just send a simple standard email stating that I was rejected!!!!!...Ridiculous ways to receive bad news......

I agree with x.dude....I was also rejected by NYU and while I was doing all this useless process of logging in, typying pasward,etc,etc...I already knew I was not admitted because what it said in the admissions web page, that only admissions will be sent via mail...all other decisions will be made through email.
Lets celebrate that we got accepted to other unis!!

Still waiting to hear from Cambridge and Cornell... Preference is Cambridge, Cornell, UChicago (if i get admitted), Georgetown and LSE... But it really depends what the big boss man (dad) says...

i think that nyu's weird system of sending out rejections is inhumane.as ive written in another thread, i was not at home when i got the email. i had to wait for more than an hour to log in to their system! i agree, they should have written in the same email that i did not get in instead of wasting my time and energy!

rejected also..most likely go to BU..What the hell.. I prefer Red Sox rather than Yankees :)
