Brightest + Jurimaster, your applications like mine have been lifted up to the highest realms, now sit back, relax and wait to confirm our accepted places.

I love the idea of a god who would directly help anyone with an application to grad school while at the same time starving half of Africa.
I also call troll on "Christ-Choice", and give him (or her) a 4.5/10 on the troll-o-meter: interesting concept, crappy execution. A good troll has more patience, and would have established something of a presence on the board before slowing going hilariously Jesus-freaky on everyone.
No one takes the time to do anything well anymore.
Amen.

I gues YLS and HLS might have changed their admissions criteria...
Posted Dec 12, 2008 17:51
Yes, now you must win a talent contest (YLS) and do 1,000 one armed push-ups in 30 miutes (HLS)- God may help here :)

Blessed Brother Bender the reasons for your comments are bent.
1) Starvation in Africa is caused by dictators (civilian or otherwise a la Mugabe, Gaddafi, Abacha, Rawlings, Obasanjo, Eyadema, Mobutu, Mubarak, Kerekou, Nyerere...you get the drift), corruption, lack of political courage and, of course, ''unethical'' foreign policy (failure of the West to settle the Lancaster House Agreement in Rhodesia, money laundering on behalf of African dictators by Western banks, support for bad regimes and legal and illegal arms trade (by the West) used by dictators to suppress oppositions).
Blessed, blessed, dearest brother Bender, Jesu the happiness of man is working miracles right there. Watch Zuma (the inevitable next president of South Africa and Obama (there could be no claim of Western imperialism with the president-elect as he's a son of the soil) sort out the mess with Mugabe.
2). Waiting is not a game for the chosen ones. We only wait in one instance - The Second Coming of the one and only Redeemer. Experience is a showing of the past. Ask the president-elect, he was in the Senate for less than a second. Did he not beat Hilary and whopped McCain? So I need not wait to post for a few times before expressing my true self - a chosen one ordained to write a blog from New Haven or Cambridge next year, right here on this website.
These are your reasons for insulting a chosen one. Forgiveness is at hand for you, Brother Bender.
Hear now, brothers. Blessed, Blessed, Blessed. A new day and dawn has come. Amen, Amen, Amen. Hallelujah.

Fair enough!
5.5/10, with the extra point for sheer determination.
Maybe next you should create a second account and start an argument with yourself; that's graduate-level trolling!

You guys are really funny.

As a Christian, I find your trolling and mockery of religion to be sad.
Further, assuming you believe any of that stuff you are chanting, I hope you do realize that both Yale and Harvard are bastions of liberalism, i.e. all that amen amen amen hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah Jesu stuff won't really bode well there.
In summation, have fun at Cooley.

Saint Sdevante, one does not preach to the converted. I look forward to seeing the liberals...then off to Cooley!
Amen, Amen Amen.
Brother Bender, the second account will be the blog next year...look forward to you enjoying it. Hallelujah, Halleliujah, Hallelujah.

I am from everywhere but I like it here, wherever this may be.
''Split a piece of wood, and I am there; lift up the stone and there you will find me''
The Heavenly Hosts have spoken. Amen, Amen Amen.
Joyful jboy14, Peace be unto you.

Answer: The Gospel of Thomas - #77.
(The oxyrhyncus manuscript, written in Greek and first discovered in 1898).
Oh blessed bender, what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul?
Absolutely nadar. Praise Him, Praise Him, Praise Him.

Wait, so Thomas was a bug? I'm confused.
Posted Dec 13, 2008 22:57
Like all chosen ones Thomas was everything, whatever that may be.
Oh Brother Bender, bending it like Beckham no longer bring goals. But I say to you: keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
Rejoice in his holiness. Rejoice, Rejoice, Rejoice.
