Job Prospects

First time listener, first time caller. I am sure this question has been posted 1000 times, but I have applied to the Big Three and am wondering how the current class's (2011) job prospects have been.

I have a Masters of Taxation and am a CPA, and I graduated with a J.D. recently. I have an offer from a Big Four firm (salary offer was disappointing though).

Is an LLM really worth the 100k of debt? I could handle the accounting firm, but I would rather go to a law firm. Any comments would be appreciated.

Did you already pass the Bar? If so, a person with both a CPA and Bar license doesn't need an LLM, especially since you already have a Masters in Tax.

I honestly don't see what you would gain from a tax llm. I usually think that you get a CPA, Masters in Tax, OR a tax llm. You have two out of the three.
