Hello all,
Some questions about whether you think I have a shot at an Ivy:
- attended at Osgoode - a top law school in Canada
- received less than stellar marks - graduated with a 60-70% average
- not on the law journal or anything but did participate in some social justice oriented organizations while in school
- have been practicing and doing fairly well for a few years and have had some big cases, a few of which are published
- have a paper published from my undergraduate but nothing since then
- haven't been particularly active in terms of publishing of writing as a lawyer because as you all understand my hours are so long and I am in court almost everyday
Do I have any chance whatsoever? Are there particular Ivy League schools that I may have a better chance at than others? I have been social justice oriented throughout my career. I am particularly interested in a criminal LLM but really go anywhere.
Thank you so much.
