Hi everybody, does anybody if is neccesary to have finished your law degree in order to apply for an LLM?
I hope to finish my law degree the next year (2008-2009) and I want to know if I could to start to apply for an LLM in early 2009 (march, april...). I´d start my LLM in 2009-2010.
Thank you in advance!!
Is necessary to apply...?

As far as I know you can apply before you actually got your degree, at least I know a couple of people you did so... but maybe you just should contact your perspective school and that will be the most certain answer... udachi

I did, and it wasn't a problem.

In Belgium most students who want to pursue an LLM apply for it when they're in their final year; it's the rule rather than the exception. Some universities require (or prefer) a few years of experience though, so their chances for these universities diminish.
You say you'd start applying in March - April 2009 to do an LLM in 2009-2010; try to get started before as many deadlines will have past (at least in the US) by the end of 2008 already...
