Hello,
Well, I know feel more confident that it's worth trying to build something up. Many thanks for your support :)
C. Miller: I know elsa yes, but the association would not be for undergraduate but graduated students (Ph.Ds for instance) who published or publish something. There are a lot of associations as regards lawyers, but not much for academic, and even less for young people. But you're very welcome if that interests you :)
For everyone who's interested, I'll probably start a forum on yahoo where it will be easier to communicate in mass. Would you mind all giving me your e-mail as well as the country you're coming from (in order to have a geographical idea...) ?
Best Regards
Interest in the Academic ? Association to be created ?

Hi Kem,
Despite the fact that I love New technologies, I'd prefer to have a real association having a conference held somewhere where you can talk to people in the eyes :)
Needless to say, I know that the funding will be THE issue, especially if we want the association to be "democratic" in its scope and enable people less lucky than western european or north american guys to come.
But let's start with the beginning, step by step (structure is not difficult). There's a solution to every problem; the issue is just to find it :)

I agree with u, lets start and then everything wil be OK, i am sure..............So if we did the first step ( u did it) i mean the idea, we need to do the second one.
Lets plan ways of accreditation of this organization, and ceirtanly the NAME.....what do u think?

You can talk to people and look then in the eyes also through the Net ;-)...
I consider technology an enormous opportunity to create something truly "new" and with extraordinary possibilities of growth.
At the end of the day what u need is a pc, an internet connection, a microphone ad a webcam (...better if you get a Skype.com account...free voice over IP to communicate almost everywhere on the planet...from and to US the line is clear and stable and, by the way, I advice all the internationals to get it in order to save thousand of dollars in int. calls...)
Any way if you like to hold a conference at Bahamas, it's fine for me too, but I guess that something like the Net International Jurists Association (NIJA...sounds cool :-)...) would be more apt to the times and, in particular, it's a solution able to reduce the problems arising from the economical issue...
Anyway the traditional and the virtual association could coexist...but let's argue about that in the yahoo forum and shape step by step the form of things to come...
Take Care

Hi Bitsou,
I would also be interested in your project.
I guess that we will have plenty of time to discuss it at Stanford. For now, I would just ask you to put me on the list (I'm from Belgium and you have my contact details already).
Thanks for this initiative.

Bitsou,
I told you!
What suddently move! I knew people would be interested in such terrific idea!
How many we are now?
We have people from Swiss, Italy, Brazil, Russia, Luxemburg, France, India and others... fantastic.
I agree with the idea of starting with something more informal and, then, develop the hole thing in something more organized.
I also agrre with the idea of a forum like yahoo groups in order to have better communication!
As you know, my personal email is joaopedro@scalzilli.com.br.
Best regards!!!

Hello,
For all those of you who are interested, the discussion on the yahoo forum related to the creation of the association have started (fairly enthusiastically I have to say). Some good may come out of it if we all work together :)
For those who were invited, please accept as soon as can be, for those who are interested, please give me your private e-mails asap. The more we are, the better it will be.
Kind Regards
