Hi all,
I wonder if anybody could offer me advice on improving my chances to get into an LLM at Harvard/Yale/Stanford.
I finished my undergrad law at a second tier UK school last year. Graduated in the top 20%. Since then I've been working in a regulatory role. I want to do my LLM starting next year, with the intention of taking a US bar exam and transitioning into business/commercial law.
I want to start now to prepare my applications and work on my profile. Any advice for steps I can take to maximize my chances?

A couple of things can help round out your profile:
- great letters of recommendation
- any publications you can get
- great application letters
Top 20 percent isn't bad. Some people in this thread got into Columbia, and were in the top 20% of their classes:

Was a few years ago, but still, I don't think it's impossible.
