You can call me Sarah. I have two deferred decisions from Georgetown Law and Berkely. I am writing this post from Washington DC.

I am between choosing the Business Certificate Berkeley vs. IBEL from Georgetown.

I know everything about Georgetown as I have already visited it and asked current students about it. I did not have the chance to do so with Berkely. So, what're your thoughts?

I do care because I want to apply for an S.J.D. afterwards.
I know it is subjective, and there is no one right answer. Any current Berkeley LL.M. student could help me with:

If you plan to do a JSD, I would focus on that aspect. Which program is stronger in your field? Which program gives you better access to prospective supervisor(s)?

Both of them. I am between crossroads.

What field? Do you prefer CA or DC? Georgetown is a lot bigger than Berkeley so that is another point of difference.
