HLS early response?

Meme

Hi

I was wondering if anyone knows when HLS as the absolutely earliest provides a response to an application? I know they say mid-March but I have also heard earlier than that previous years. Perhaps someone knows from previous years or friends or so.

Thank you in advance.

I know someone who had a positive answer in March 8th, last year.
I have another question, I have sent my application on November 30th and I only received the completeness email on Feb 5th, did it also take two months for you to receive this email ?

Hi,
I am very concerned, I still have not received this! Did you get it just today? Wow then there may be hope for me too.

If we get confirmation of complete application today - I wonder when the answer on the application will be given... in May?

Are you from France ? i think people from Europe received the 2nd email today, but i'm not sure.
i think the decisions will be made in March, but some are in a waiting list and those don't get the answer until June.

Just curious. I am a legally Korean and currently a Belgium permanent resident. Wonder how HLS classifies my geographical indentity.

One question to the board members. I applied HLS ONLY at the end of Nov. 2008 and received a second incomplete notice on 2 Jan. 2009 (no TOEFL score). In fact, I sent and attached the TOEFL waiver request together with the application. HLS noticed this request later and promised to bring this request to the attention of admission director. I wonder whether this may affect my application status.

My three job positions (i.e. legal consultant, lobbyist, Ph.D reseacher) have never allowed me to keep staying in Belgium or in one country for more than one month. I do not know where I will be next day. No way to take a TOEFL exam. -_-

Anyway. All the best of luck to 2009 HLS applicants.

I think geographical identity is based on where you studied, residence is irrelevant.

Thanks for the quick and kind reply, Yme. It makes the issue more complex. I have LLB from Korea, the first Master from Korea, the second Master from Denmark, the post-grad. diploma from UK, and Drs. in Belgium. -_- Probably, HLS may consider the location of LLB.

I just hope I can have a chance to study American law after Asia and Europe. Thanks again, Yme.
