I think the change in status is a system glitch and nobody needs to worry.

Mine also changed from decision to complete.

I am overseas for work and will not be at home to receive my package. Accordingly, I called admissions and asked if they would email my decision. They told me that they could not email it, but a decision had been made and it was in the post.

Yep, change from complete to decision and now back to complete. Although it appears to be a system thing, I am worried that their might not be a positive decision under way....

My status was decision but now is complete...so I think that it means nothing at all if all the status turned to complete!

FYI the "letter" was posted in DC the 15th at 9 PM and arrived in Fedex Paris the 17th last friday at 6PM...and then fedex send me a message...

I thought GULC would give us decision emails
concurrently with letters via postal service.
Are they changing the procedure this year?

There is one more way for those who absolutely cannot wait to find out more about the decisions: call your local FedEx customer service, tell them you dont have a tracking/reference number, give them your details and that your parcel was sent from Washington DC on 15/12/12 - that way FedEx tracked my parcel for me including the estimated delivery time (its currently stuck in Paris) and its weight (1kg).

Hi, I got rejected so sad...don't know what to expect now...must be my toefl 97 any advice? If I got rejected from georgetown what should I expect from others programs. I applied to duke, hls and nyu...

Do you have a letter? By mail or by fedex?

If you have also applioed for Duke, Hls, Nyu wait and stay confident! Toefl 97 is a good score...

When I checked the status of my application last Thursday, it said 'Decision', but when I checked again it has also reverted back to 'Complete'.

I have received no news, either way, by email.

I am not sure if I have received anything in the mail, as I'm currently away from home and my postal address, and won't be back well into the new year. I have emailed GULC to ask if they will release the decision to me by email. I will keep you posted. Thanks everyone for your posts, it is helpful to know what is going on generally.

I just heard from Fed ex. I am picking my package up in a few hours. Will let you know how it goes.

lolita - sorry to hear about the rejection.

GULC is a weird school for admissions. the result there shouldnt mean the same at nyu or elsewhere. toefl by itself should not be THAT important. And 97 in itself is a pretty good score.

I also got a FedEx package this morning, but I cannot see it now as I am not at home! I will let you know the result when I back home this evening!
