I'm not getting into this. I really have nothing to prove (nor do I care to give you information which you will then turn a blind eye to anyway). I mean I could tell you he/she is from a certain South American country because I know from him/her that there were multiple students from that particular country in your year (and therefore make you do more work in verifying this with each individual LLM student from that country), but I refuse to do so particularly because I realise that students from many countries are sole representatives so seriously, I'd rather you think I were lying than to rat out a friend. I'm not going to even state whether there was more than one representative from the country that my friend is from (so he/she could actually be from that South American country).
To put it more bluntly, think that I'm lying if that rocks your boat. Good day to you.
Harvard or Stanford?

Well, thats funny, I am from a certain South American country, and we were only 5 South Americans in my year. As you probably know, all South Americans are very friendly and know each other very well.I can guarantee to you that your information is completely wrong as no South American from SLS 2007 that wanted to find a job ended up staying the in cold... Peguei vc seu mentiroso! Good day!

You misread my post. Read the post closely: I never said he/she was from a South American country but that he/she told me that there were more than 1 student from a particular South American country. I in fact made it clear that I refuse to tell you where he/she is from. But never mind - I did say before that I'd drop the matter and I intend to :)

Ok, man, I will not bother you anymore... have a great day and keep doing your research!

You too! :) I should say that I'm not pissed or anything (and hope you feel the same way) and I apologize if anything I said caused offence. I of course have a completely different take than you of course but that's what makes great discussions on this board! :)

I am never pissed my friend! You are smart, it is always good to discuss with smart people such like yourself, no matter what is the subject... All best !

I did hear this year that harvard llm's have a hard time getting a job (i don't think they have any advantage over nyu and cls) and I agree that it would be easier for stanford, especially in ip and also because the west coast location. I do know that nyu and i guess other uni's also participate in west coast llm job fair but having the ability to go to jd fair is awesome, so stanford would win big time.
