Okay guys, since I made that last posting about navigating the LLM essays, I have had numerous emails from folks requesting assistance. I know the deadline for applications is December 1. Therefore, I am willing to assist those who are already in the middle/process of applying - of course for moderate consultation fee. I am not going to guarantee acceptance. Because no one can, and no one should. But I know from my experience, and experience helping others what a difference these essays can make. Most people with the gut to apply to these top schools already have stellar academic credentials. Therefore, with only roughly 165-180 students accepted each year from nearly four thousand applications (mostly from graduates from the top law schools in the world), your story becomes important. That is what the admission officer is asking her/himself - what is it about this candidate that makes him/her different/stand out from the rest of the 4000 or so candidates? Many of us have problems putting essays together, defining a legal issue in our home and how we can make a difference if we get admitted. If you feel like this is you, and you know for sure that you are applying this year, maybe we can discuss your essays. I will personally respond to those who are definitely planning to get in next Fall. Thanks.
