I am joining the group of people who haven't heard from HSL. This wait is painful!

I was a candidate last year and didnât get my acceptance until the last week of March. There's still plenty of hope for you guys.

I'm also in.
I just received my blue postcard which said "incomplete application" because they did not receive one of my recommender's letter.
I have sent them a new one (sealed, signed, dated and everything) by DHL (which costed me another 80$) and they even did reply to my email....
Either they are really too busy (in which case they should hire more staff, money should not be a problem for them), or they just have a policy of not communicating with the applicants.
See U later,
I am coming back to this forum for a little info every night anyway so I WILL C U later...

REY
did u get an aswer by now? It took me 4 weeks to get the extrainformation they asked for, so I dont know whether I sent too late, or it doesnt really matter -ie. they leave a cuota of students to be admitted when receiving the complete files.

Hi - the acceptance letter I recieved was 3 pages, small envelope. Offer open till early may. The statements were the usual "congratulations - the field of candidates is extremely talented - competition is steep - we hope you will accept - etc..."

rey: I also received an 'incomplete application' from HLS because they did not receive one recommendation letter.
Do not worry, as long as they have received 2 recommendation letters, your application is considered complete. They informed me of this through email.
No word from HLS yet. I'm in at Georgetown, still waiting for HLS, Columbia, and Berkeley.

Hi, all --
I'm a North American candidate who wasn't heard from Harvard one way or the other yet. I received a blue post card in December informing me that HLS did not have my law school transcript -- called and confirmed that they did indeed have everything -- and that's the last news I've heard. I run home every day to check the mail. This wait is starting to wear on me! It's great to find this discussion board. My husband applied for the PhD program at Fletcher (Tufts), early admission, and he got a call in December letting him know he'd been accepted. I presume HLS doesn't make calls?

Does anyone know whether REJECTION or WAITING LIST letters have been sent out to anyone -- or only those acceptances that seem to have been trickling out since February? Thanks.

Cool !
When did you get your email ?
I sent them an email with the address that is on the website.
This was actually an automatic reply which gave you a second email address...
I sent my message to this one but I did not get any answer.
HLS is the only school I applied to which does even not reply to my email !
Bye.

I just got an email from the admissions office saying all decisions will be available by March 25 (not March 15 as stated in the application).
Posted Mar 14, 2005 19:34
Did you write them first? Did everyone received that email?
Posted Mar 14, 2005 19:38
Can you post the content of the email?
Posted Mar 14, 2005 23:12
I did not receive this email and I am also eager to see its content.
Thanx for sharing the info !

rey: I received the email Feb. 17. They said that the postcard stating that they were missing one recommendation letter was just a simple courtesy to let me know that they did not receive it, but that as long as they had received two letters, the application is complete.
Goodluck to everyone waiting!

really? too bad to wait for another 10 days longer plus at least 7 days for international postal service.
Posted Mar 15, 2005 11:30
I emailed them to ask when decisions would be made by. They simply said
"Decisions will be available beginning March 25"
