Hello, guys!! i have started here the thread for those prospective applicants for 2013-2014 LLM Harvard applicants so we can exchange communications with regard to our shared goals.

guys, may we know when is the start of the online application for 2013-2014 for Harvard. i visited the website but it turns out that the online application still pertains to 2012 llm program.

please share your thoughts on this guys as to the opening of the 2013-2014 application. thanks so much.

Hi Ivyleague!! Good day there! thanks for your response and link. i got another query - why is it that when i logged in, it says there that the Program is now closed and it is titled as "program 2012 is now closed" How can that be?

I am also applying to HLS. Applications seem to be already opened, but when I fill in the application form it says the program is now closed...

same here. when i also logged in and began to fill out the application form, it says that the program is now closed. i think they are referring to the 2012 program. however, i just wonder when is the online application be available.

as of now, i am not thinking of applying to any other schools - only Harvard.

From my inquiries, i learnt that the 2013 applications will not be open until the last days of august into early September, No specified date.

It should be available in September. Few days away!

When I visited the admissions office, they said it will be available September!

I am also interested in HLS. One thing I am currently working on is letter of recommendation. HLS needs direct submission of LoR instead of distribution by LSAC. Since my recommender has been ready to send his LoR, I asked HLS for the address for sending it. The admission staff sent me a recommendation request form. It says that under no circumstances should an applicant prepare or review a letter of recommendation. Does anynoe know how strict would this rule be inplemented in admission?

hey guys, im currently enrolled with the University of London International Programmes and considering how to meet the requirements for HSL. my grades are pretty average so far so do i get a couple of years work experience to better my chances?

Hi everyone! @ Snowdragon: I think they'll try to implement the rule the best they can. But for instance, my Prof has asked me to prepare a draft and then she'll work further on it. I've been out of law school for 3 years now so clearly the lady wouldn't remember much of my contributions. Eventually, she can cut out whatever she disagrees with. I think this method does not break the abovementioned rule. Not according to HLS I hope :)
