I just called. I am not admitted. I am neither surprised nor disappointed. Still waiting for CLS. If not admitted to Columbia, it'll be Penn Law.

This is therefore my last post on this thread. It's been a pleasure.

Bye guys, you are terrific, you are beautiful people, I love you all. I wanna thank God, my producer (I mean that I wanna thank God and my producer, not that God is my producer) and all the people who supported me (especially Sophia, the nice lady at HLS who informed me about the rejection : she's been very human, very nice).

No from HLS...I called 2 minutes ago.
That second test email was simply plain torture.

I can sympathise with you - it was cruelty. The weekend was a misery - think I have white hairs popping up ! Yuk !!!!

It was such a great idea to send a second test e-mail to most of the rejected applicants (after admission decisions)...

and to explain in the end that rejected applicants don't even deserve a rejection email...

got the second email ..and as seems to be the trend, didnt make it to harvard.

Therefore no tough choices to make, Oxford it is.

I received the 1st test email but not the second one...and I haven't heard anything else besides that. I will call tomorrow since the admissions office must be closed by now.

is there still any chance that I might be admitted, even though I have not been emailed any positive response? What does it mean when you get the first test email but not the second one?

I think the first email arrived in the morning so if yours arrived in the late afternoon, that is the 2nd email.

Thanks. When your firm's litigation department just had a big debate about how to authenticate e-mail evidence presented at trial, you lose a bit of sleep waiting for the documents. :P

Nice to know the letters are on their way! Which country are you from? Is there anything exciting in the pack?
Thanks

Hi Anna: I'm from Germany have been reading all the morning now :-) .

Theres nothing really exciting in, but its nice to have the signed admission letter.

I learned that the visa application process is very complex, especially if you plan to attend a summer program.

The "Unofficial Guide to Life as an LL.M." comes up with helpful information.

Looking forward to meeting you all at HLS!

I received the package too. A lot of bureaucratic trouble, that's the dominant feature! The unofficial guide (a red book) is quite helpfull, just as Snow said. The remaining documents are much less exciting. Boring days to come ...and the visa process is horrible!

No pain no gain!
