HLS just sent a general email...I hope those who are still waiting on acknowledgements got it too...
*** Please read this carefully. This updated confirmation e-mail is being re-sent to ensure that you have received notice from our offices. ***
We have received your application to the LL.M. program at Harvard Law School. This e-mail serves as confirmation of receipt of your application.
We have begun to send out second confirmation e-mails indicating whether or not your application is complete. If you have not received your second e-mail from us, your application is still being processed and/or reviewed.
The Admissions Office may circulate incomplete applications at our discretion. However, your application will be viewed more favorably if it is complete at the time of review. It is your responsibility to ensure the timely receipt of all recommendations that you have listed, transcripts of higher education, and TOEFL report, if applicable. We will notify you if we should need anything from you.
If you are using LSAC: The date of our retrieval of your LSAC report has no impact on your application. If you are using LSAC, you must communicate with them regarding all information transcripts and/or TOEFLs that you have questions and/or concerns over.
Please note that the Committee on Graduate Studies will not be able to make an offer of admission until all required items have been received. We currently anticipate that admissions decisions will be made in early to mid-March of 2006.
Please use this e-mail (LLMQuery@law.harvard.edu) for all future correspondence, including questions and change of mailing address. We will answer your question as soon as we are able.
Thank you.

Anuschka, I have received the same e-mail as well... I am sure they are starting to review the applications now, as I sent my application on November, 13th (complete, of course) and I had received no acknowledgement that my file is complete.

Hi,
do u think that some applicants can receive an acceptance letter in january or february anyway before march as it is said on their website that it is possible that few applicants may receive an acceptance letter in december

As far as I know, HLS traditionally is sending out its (=all) decisions at the same day, end of march.
Posted Dec 21, 2005 15:05
yes, thats what i've also heard. in fact threads on tis website mention that harvard has been sendin out results on th same day since 1936!! n its not likely to happen before march (thats what ther email confirmation says and thats when the results were announced last year, in fact late march)

I haven´t received mine either - and I had sent my application materials on November, 12th. I wouldn´t be surprised if many more people is in the same situation.

Same boat. No confirmation of the completeness of the application which was sent before November 15.

Same here. Still waiting. However I am not specially worried since a friend of mine who is currently pursuing his LL.M at Harvard received the second notice by the end of January last year...
