Boston University vs. George Washington University

I know that GW ranked higher than BU but what about the reputation in the legal field? The strongest in terms of prestige؟

As you may see, GW is ranked 22 and BU is ranked 26.
Now it also depends what field are you interested in. If you look there, you will also find the rankings depending on their specializations.
Has anyone received his/her decesion from GW? Anyone who applied in the last day possible or in the last days of January?

I got accepted at GWU two days back. No scholarship. Got accepted at BU as well with 15k LLM Scholar scholarship. Not yet decided on either. The costs are prohibitively high.

I'm facing a similar question. Admitted to GWU and Georgetown, I'm having a hard time choosing between both.
On the one hand, Georgetown is higher ranked and, well, ranking matters. On the other hand, I received a significant scholarship from GWU, and GWU is pretty strong in the IP field (therefore I would pursue this specialization).

I really think I'm gonna enroll at GWU.

@Alina: Yes I applied around mid Feb.
However, still waiting to hear back from Georgetown.

By the way, GW is known for IP and International Law but can anyone tell me if GW is strong and known in the field of Trade and Investment Laws. Any good faculty for the same ?

By GW, do yo tou mean George Washington University or Georgetown? I was accpeted at Georgetown. Gotta say that I am impressed with their brochure.

@Joy Hopeful : I applied for Georgetown and its been over a month and my status hasnt changed till now from Application Completed. I have even sent them a request to expedite as I have received a decision from GW, but they havnt replied at all.

I am starting to worry as I was expecting atleast a reply acknowledging my email or something from their side. When did you apply ?

I applied on february. I think that they are going to send many offers from now on since many people admitted at Georgetown were also admitted at NYU, Columbia, HLS, etc.
