Anyone got an email for GULC's new IBEL LLM Program. Seems very flexible, I am interested. I originally applied for Securities and Financial Regulations but seems IBEL is more appropriate since corporate, finance and business law is my preferred concentration.
Sad thing is this is a new program and may not be rated/tested yet. But since the courses are existing ones and the GU is top tier 1, I think its worth the risk. What do you guys think? My preference is IBEL + Cert in National Security Law

yes i also received the e-mail about IBEL
and got interested for the program
in fact i did requested to change my application from general LL.M to IBEL
because it suits my academic interest in business law
i understand your concern of how this program may not be tested
but i think it's worth the try , anyone else interested?

I too think its a great option. I believe it also offers an additional WTO certificate program. Sounds good, untested- but can be sold.

I think it's a great program! Really tempting. It looks like it offers a little bit of everything, with an emphasis on business and economics. It even might include the basics of taxation. Pretty neat!
But I think I'm sticking to taxation =) I need all the units i can get to become better at it, and frankly, I find tax a bit hard!

The investment is pretty high.. and the Program is not yet rated... I wonder how if this will be "acceptable" by rating-conscious institutions in the US and multinational companies. Perhaps admitted prospects will just have to rely on the GULC's seal upon graduation. I am having second thoughts now.
