Georgetown or NYU?

Miu

Hi everyone,

I was lucky enough to get offer from both Georgetown and NYU. People say I should definitely choose NYU over Georgetown but I guess I am leaning towards the latter and yet not being able to make a firm decision yet. I thought maybe many of you here could help me decide.

I am very much interested in int'l economic law. I plan to work at gov't institution or research firm after LLM. I know that both schools provide good int'l law programs in general but I am not quite sure about int'l economic law prorgam. Which school do you think is better?

Living expense is another thing. Is it true that it will probably cost 20k more to live in NY than in DC?

Thank you for your replies in advance :)

Hi,
I applied to both school too but I haven't got any news from NYU. I already got the offer from Gtown though.

I think if your concentration leaned to trade esp. WTO, Gtown is the place esp since they have John Jackson and the certificate but if you leaned to investment, NYU has Jose Alvarez.
