I just got an email saying they want to evaluate my application against regular candidates, and I won't get the decision before 25th February. In the meanwhile, I can submit additional supporting documents.

:(

Any idea what happened to similar situations in past years?

Also any suggestions on what more could I send?

Hi! I got admitted to GULC yesterday. The acceptance email didn't mention anything about scholarship/financial aid? Will that be notified separately?

Same, received acceptance but no word on aid.

I would call the Admissions Office and politely ask for an advice of what could be helpful to send them. A friend of mine did it and it got her off the waiting list.

How long long did it take to get the decision, from when you applied?

How long long did it take to get the decision, from when you applied?


I applied on 10.31, completed on 11.2, recieved the decision that I got deferred on 12.16. Hope this could help you ! Good luck!

Nothing yet, looking at last year I'm hopeful that more decisions will be sent out next week.

I wrote to them on this question. They informed me that they usually release that info in February.

Additionally, anybody knows how much is usually given by GULC regarding merit scholarships?

Does anyone know if it's possible to win both the merit scholarship AND the national security scholarship? I was offered a kind merit scholarship, but I am afraid I could not afford tuition without additional financial aid

I submitted the application and fee December 1, application marked complete (LSAC and those transcript processing times can be a nightmare) on January 4th. Contacted the graduate admissions department and was told if you applied by the early decision deadline of Jan 5th that you will be notified of acceptance decision no later than February 4th. Hope that helps.
