Ditto. Got my packet on Saturday. Congrats!

Are you going to enroll? I haven't made up my mind yet... I may attend the open house on march 19....We might meet there!

I most likely will enroll. I also have a full-time job lined up for next year, so I will probably try to do both and go part-time to Georgetown. I didn't apply anywhere else - its Georgetown or nothing.

Ideally, I'd like to start in the Spring, to get a semester of work under me. Also getting married in August, so it would be nice to have a small break.

Does anyone know whether or not an LL.M. is deductible if I start in the Fall, but start my job before classes start? I know that there needs to be a definite "break" between law school and continuing education, but is that enough? Starting in the Spring (if even an option) seems to create a stronger case. But - if I pay the enrollment fee before starting work, does that erase any "break" I otherwise may have had?

Ignore the "line of work" problem - I have that covered.

Why does "AUAP" still claim that "Georgetown University is not recommended for bar examinations as said in their own pages."

Georgetown actively supports international students who plan to take the bar exam:

"If I am an international student, can I take a bar exam after I earn my LL.M.?

Many of our LL.M. students who received their first degree in law in a foreign country choose to take a U.S. bar exam, usually the New York bar exam, upon completion of their LL.M. at Georgetown. Your academic advisor will work with you to help you select the courses needed to qualify for the bar exam, as part of designing your overall course of study."

Mine as well - Decision but can't log on - I am assuming this is not a good sign.

"Wait Listed" per today's email....(Tax LL.M, Domestic).

Congrats to those accepted.....and keeping my fingers crossed...

I also got "Wait Listed". Do you know if there's anything we can do to increase the chance of being accepted? I suppose I'll just call and ask.

Be cool... I was admitted and I am going to reject it.

People here usually apply for the same Schools and probably will choose only one.

You are in.. Relax a wait

My status changed to decision last night. I can assess the admitted students website but I have not received any email from georgetown. Does this mean I am in?
