Dear all, my status has changed into "decision" yesterday but I haven't receive any emails from them. However, I tried to log in the "admitted students site" and I am able to enter my username and password!

Do you think it's possible that I can enter the admitted students site even though I didn't get admitted?

Ditto. My status went to decision on 12/11, I can log into the admitted student's page, but I have yet to receive official word.

hey everyone! I followed the link and got in as well. My status turned to decision on Friday but I still haven't heard anything from them. Do you really think the admitted students website is open only to those who have been admitted? Don't want to get my hopes up....

also note the fine print on the website -

"Please note: Access to the admitted students site will be granted four days after an offer of admission is extended."

The best way to check would be to have someone that has a status of "complete" try to log on to the website. Can someone here do that?

Is it the same username and password for checking your status...if so...I cant log on. I doubt I have got in TBH.

Looks like a red herring ... the dates on the website are for the 2009-2010 llm class. Also just spoke to G'Town, they said this year's website should be up on Monday

They are starting to update it though. Anyone else talk to them or hear anything?

Just got an email from Georgetown - REJECTED....for the second time!

Was expecting it.
This sucks

I got an email saying this:
"The Committee on Graduate Admissions has reviewed your application for the Fall 2010 semester and has concluded that the record you present is a strong one. However, the Committee has decided to defer making a final decision on your file until we have a better sense of this year's applicant pool. Therefore, your application will be reviewed again along with our Regular Action applicants. "

What do you guys think? has it happened to anybody else?? I need to hear your opinion on the subject

Is it because that my file was completed on Nov.19, and was not actually considered in the early action?

I don't think so because I completed mine on November 11th, and I got the same email....I don`t know. Have u emailed them? I am so anxious

Is this a waiting list? Never heard that a waiting list counld be a result of Early Action before.
Sigh....

I my status moved to Decision on Friday, December 11th. I just checked back today, and now it reads: "Complete."

I am unable to log into the admitted student page, however it has been 3 days since my status read Decision.

I am unsure as to the meaning the of switchback - any thoughts?
