Georgetown Application Decision Turnaround Time

Looking at the App tracker for Georgetown, it looks like most of their admission decisions are made within a month of applying. Some as quickly as one week after applying. Is this really what should be expected?

Does anyone know if scholarship offers come in at the same time?

Decisions are indeed made pretty fast, in my experience. Scholarship decisions won't be made until later on, I think we'll have to wait until February/March for that.

Quickest among the T14 from my observations. I applied on the 2nd October, and was admitted on the 28th October.

Hello all,

I was just accepted to the International Business & Economic Law (IBEL) program today so wanted to share my timeline for those who are still waiting. I applied through Early Action (EA) when the cycle opened. I had submitted my electronic application on October 1st but the physical documents took a few days and the portal status had been on "Application Complete" since October 5th. For the first time it changed, becoming "under review" yesterday and recieved my acceptance today through email. I am a U.S. educated (J.D.) law school student. I hope this helps and best of luck to everyone.

Application Completed - 10/05
Application Under Review - 12/01
Congratulations Email - 12/02

Hi All,
I have received email from Gtown about admission and it said that I have been accepted.
The letter will be provided later on actually but the online status remains "Application Completed".
I applied for the Two Year LLM because I prefer to master the legal English before the LLM course. Hey, can we create a special group for any admitted students here? I do wish to know more about the courses, housing, people and other things to prep for.
Thank you
