I received acceptance both from Fordham Law School and UCLA.

Anybody in the same situation..?

Do you have any idea how to choose??

I would go to UCLA! They are more well known internationally (and also better ranked in general - compared to Fordham).

I know UCLA is ranked 16th and Fordham is ranked 27th but Fordham is in NY. Don't you think that makes a difference due to connections with law firm in NY?

Oh if you are taking in account personal factors like intentions to find a job in NY then i would say do the LLM in the State you likely want a career in - in your case NY / Fordham! :)

I would go to UCLA even tough you have plans to land a job in NYC. I do not really believe people studying in Calif are anyway in disadvantage (comparing to people in fordham) of getting a job in NY.
UCLA is a GREAT univ and its name will stick in your CV for the rest of your life. Fordham is also a good school, but not prestigious as UCLA!
I wouldn't think twice!
