You can check: "craig list new york", type this on google and it's the first site to appear. it's said to be the best website to find a place in NYC.

Do you know if we get to choose our courses ourselves or if it is pre-determined?

i dont know exactly if our courses are predetermined. the last time i read sthg about it was when i applied and im not quite sure. i think we have some of them that we have to choose by ourselves. anyway I suppose that the two first weeks ( mid august ) that we are going to learn about the us american system, the will explain us.

I've been also admitted to Fordham LLM in International and Trade Law. I decided to defer my participation in the program to fall 2006. I had a great opportunity to get familiar with the school in 2004 when I took courses of the American Language and Culture Department. The faculty is great. I also enjoyed the city and made a lot of friends etc.

Although, being a Hungarian attorney, I'm pretty unsure about my career opportunities upon graduating from this program. If anyone can share any experiences about job interviews and offers in NY for foreign graduates with LL.M. degree, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm also looking forward to any useful information about how American LL.M. degrees are evaluated in European firms regarding salaries and else.

I was wondering the difficulty of the IP LLM. I am a graduate of UNC Law but in the bottom third of my class. However, I have very extensive outside experience. I Fordham a school where one can still be competative with low academics and high experience? I figured this would be one of the best places to ask. A reply from anyone involved or doing research on the Fordham IP LLM would be very appreciated.
